Rend Lake Golf Course
Policies Governing Play
Subject to change without notice.
Welcome,
We respectfully request your complete cooperation and support of all policies
of the Rend Lake Golf Course. Our starters and rangers are expected to be treated
with respect and their instructions obeyed at all times.
Tee Times have priority any day you wish to play Rend Lake Golf Course.
TEE TIME RESERVATIONS:
a) You may make guaranteed tee time reservations for your group by calling (618)
629-2353.
b) When making reservations, whether in person or by phone, you must give your
name and phone number.
c) 18 holes with a golf car are required on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays before
1:00 p.m.
d) We welcome your business or personal group outing. Please ask for details.
e) Rend Lake reserves the right to pair players at our discretion.
A Golf Outing Agreement is required for groups of more than 16 players.
CANCELLATION OF RESERVATIONS
Reservations for a tee time, which are not cancelled 24 hours prior to the reserved
tee time, may result in the Rend Lake Golf Course requesting payment for green
fees and golf car fees, if circumstances warrant.
ARRIVAL PRIOR TO TEE TIME
Groups are requested to arrive at least 15 minutes before their time with the
entire group present to register.
KEEPING PACE
Each group must maintain its tee time interval by keeping pace with the group
ahead. We request your cooperation with this concept in order for all groups
to complete 18 holes in 4 hours and 15 minutes or less.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
No person or group is allowed to bring any food or beverage (including beer
and hard liquor) from off the premises. All food and beverages, including beer,
must be purchased at Gibby's on the Green and are allowed on the golf course.
CHILDREN
Because we value the safety of your children - youths under 12 years of age
require the permission of our professional golf staff to play. Please call ahead
to make arrangements.
DRESS
Proper attire is required on the Rend Lake Golf Course grounds at all times.
Alternative spikes are required. No steel spikes are permitted. Tank tops and
cut-offs are not considered proper attire. Shirts must be worn at all times.
GOLF CARS
We issue cars by tee times only. No one may rent a golf car before players with
earlier tee times have been provided with available cars. We have 100 riding
cars, thus we rarely have problems meeting our customers' needs for cars. No
person will be rented a golf car under the age of 16.
NO MORE THAN FOUR PEOPLE IN A GROUP
A maximum of four people are allowed per group.
SPECTATORS
All spectators must register in the Pro Shop, pay a golf car fee, and follow
all of the rules and policies of the Rend Lake Golf Course.
Spectators are only allowed if the total number of people in the group, including
the spectator(s), is four or less.
