Rend Lake Shooting Complex is widely known for its beautiful sporting
clay course. It has hosted the 1999 ISCA State Championship, the 2001
NSCA Zone 5 Championship, the 2002 Angle Port Open and the 2003 ISCA Tournament.
Designed by renowned designer, instructor and sports writer Marty Fischer,
of Rincon, GA, the course replicates every conceivable shot encountered
in the field.
It offers alternate opportunities for the beginning novice or
advanced tournament shooter, and the course set up is changed on a
continuous basis to enhance new looks and provide different shooting
challenges. Private lessons by a certified, licensed instructor are
available by appointment.
The course offers 15 fields with shooting stands at both ground and elevated
levels. There are two ponds with decks and three towers for shooting versatility.
The facility is ADA accessible, with 8 foot shaded cart paths throughout.
The machines are automated. Licensed instruction is available for private
lessons by appointment.
